Between
1989 and 1992, a concept car for off-road passengers transportation is
developped. That developement leads, in march 91, to the born of Anteos,
the vehicle presented on that page.
Anteos passes reliability tests with success, and in a short time its polyvalence surprises everyone. The dedicated press and mass media is very interested.
Various firms get close interest to the vehicle.
It appears that a monocoque cell erected on a Unimog frame, offers new benefits for multiple applications
But the technology used for Anteos requires deep changes to match the
new needs. A very long range, more loading charges and amphibious capability
are asked!
A think team is set in 94. Its objective is to design a new product with
industrial assembly aims.
TWI is born in 95 to set up the production
tool.
